CORE RECORD RULES

Organisation ≠ Vessel
The organisation is the real-world body. The vessel is its tracked representation inside the Reparation Nation system.
Vessel ≠ Voyage
One vessel may have many reparatory voyages.
Voyage ≠ Cargo
A voyage is the reparatory programme or journey. Cargo is what is committed, carried or delivered through it.
Cargo ≠ Delivery
The existence of cargo does not prove that reparatory benefit has actually been delivered.
Announcement ≠ Commitment
Commitment ≠ Allocation
Allocation ≠ Transfer
Transfer ≠ Receipt
Receipt ≠ Verified Receipt
Tracked ≠ Approved
A vessel being tracked does not mean Reparation Nation endorses, approves or certifies the organisation.
News ≠ Evidence
A report about reparatory activity is not automatically proof that the activity occurred as described.
Source ≠ Fact unless the source supports the fact

HOW SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE IS UPDATED

Step Process
1 A reparations development, announcement, report or source is identified.
2 The underlying facts are examined.
3 The facts are translated into Vessel, Voyage, Cargo, Movement, Destination and Delivery records where appropriate.
4 Existing records are updated or new permanent records are created.
5 The Shipping Intelligence pages display the updated activity.

PURPOSE

The purpose of Reparation Nation Shipping Intelligence is not merely to record statements about reparations.

It is intended to build a durable record of reparatory activity showing what was announced, what was committed, what was allocated, what moved, what was delivered, who was intended to benefit, what evidence exists and what remains unresolved.
