What a pledge does—and does not do.

A pledge recorded through the completed new system will be voluntary, conditional and revocable. No money will be collected merely by recording a pledge.

A pledge is not

• a donation or payment;
• a debt or legally enforceable payment obligation;
• a share purchase;
• proof of ownership;
• membership or voting rights;
• an appointment;
• an official decision of the Bernie Grant Arts Centre or any other organisation.

Separate actions

A pledge, petition signature, nomination and discussion contribution are separate forms of participation.
